& Condition Monitoring
We currently have no scheduled session for this Course. If you are interested in running this course, please contact our Training Department at info@petroknowledge.com
Why Choose this Training Course?
Why Choose this Training Course?
Stationary equipment including pressure vessels, storage tanks and piping systems, as well as rotating machinery, i.e. pumps, compressors, turbines, in oil and gas and associated facilities, play important role in modern industrial operations. Due to extreme working conditions, they are exposed to material degradation and damage mechanisms throughout their service life.
The aim of this PetroKnowledge Maintenance training course is to present the best practices regarding diagnosing the potential problems in operation in order to prevent failures and catastrophic accidents. The course will emphasize that the diagnostics skills can be developed and explain the role of the multidisciplinary team approach. The course will also introduce relevant API standards that provide guidelines for planning the scope and frequency of equipment inspection and condition monitoring.
It is deemed very important for the delegates to have a full understanding of the material degradation processes, risk analysis of equipment failures and available prevention and remedial technologies.
The training course will include several workshops where real problems from industrial practice will be solved, which will enable intensive discussions and exchange of experiences
Upon completion of this PetroKnowledge course, the delegates will learn:
- Guidelines for diagnosing of potential failures of equipment in operation
- Best practices for safe operation of stationary and rotating equipment
- Procedures for inspection and monitoring of equipment
- Methods to develop good diagnostics skills through team work
- Procedures and technologies for finding root cause of problems
What are the Goals?
What are the Goals?
By the end of this training course, delegates will be able to:
- Comprehensive understanding of various potential failure modes and methods of their diagnosing and identification
- Knowledge on the mechanical structural integrity of stationary and rotating equipment
- Familiarity with hazards associated with process fluids in connection with degradation of equipment material
- Experience with the Code requirements for sizing and efficient operation of equipment
- Enable the good management of plant systems
Who is this Training Course for?
Who is this Training Course for?
This PetroKnowledge training course is designed for:
- Mechanical & Process Engineers
- Operations Engineers
- Maintenance Engineers
- Engineering Supervisors and Team Leaders
How will this Training Course be Presented?
How will this Training Course be Presented?
The training course will be conducted along workshop principles with formal lectures and interactive examples during several workshops, which will result in the active participation of all delegates in discussions and teamwork. Real life examples will be selected to illustrate the efficient operation and potential technical failures as well as their root causes. The emphasis will be on troubleshooting the problems and maintaining equipment safety. There will be ample opportunities for active, open discussion and sharing professional experiences on various operational and safety issues. All course materials will be provided.
