This PetroKnowledge Introduction to BOSIET training course is designed for delegates who work on the offshore assets (production platform, drill rig, FPSO etc.,) to complete an appropriate offshore safety and emergency training course before being allowed to travel to their offshore asset.
This training course will provide delegates with the most modern & practical knowledge and skills for a safe working environment and traveling to offshore workplaces by helicopter. In addition, delegates will have an awareness of the associated hazards and risks encountered when working on offshore installations and how to control and mitigate these risks. Theoretical subjects will be demonstrated related to the Offshore safety including safety induction, fire safety and basic firefighting, first aid using a CA-EBS, helicopter safety and escape and survival at sea.
